The 4KQ Christmas Lights competition is the arguably the largest Christmas Lights competition in Australia and definitely one of the festive season’s great joys. Now in its 21st year, the competition 4KQ Christmas Lights now has second generation participants.
Children, who were the Christmas Lights 'helpers' in previous years, are now staging their own displays. The youngest participant to date was ten years old. He saved, paid for, and constructed his display on his own. See individual residences, whole streets and neighborhoods celebrate Christmas with brilliant lights and dazzling displays.

I'm not knocking it, okay (so please don't take this the wrong way [it's me really]..)... but, until all this light is generated by wind and solar power, to me it is such an wasteful excess, it makes me feel anything but full of goodwill.
