Grammy-Award nominated sitarist, Anoushka Shankar, will be performing live on stage at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in June.
Anoushka is the daughter of legendary sitar virtuoso and composer Ravi Shankar and while her name may have brought her to the stage for the first time as a young girl, it is her immeasureable talent and vision that has kept her there.
Her most recent album Breathing Under Water was in collaboration with Karsh Kale and was released in August last year.
