Buddha Birth Day Festival 2008

The 12th annual Buddha Birth Day Festival at South Bank takes place in early May with heaps to see and do with 300 performers, two performance stages, children’s amusement area, lots of delicious vegetarian food stalls, an art exhibition and various workshops.
Other highlights of the event includes the very popular Bathing Buddha Ceremony, lion dances, traditional Chinese arts and crafts demonstrations. Riverfront fireworks displays are available on Saturday and Sunday nights.
