Kum'n@cha gives you the chance to hip hop, break dance and rap your way through the upcoming school holidays with the Poetic Murriz at these one-day workshops.
Get your kicks on ready to get steppin’ as the morning will be spent learning the deadliest hip hop moves to dominate the dance floor. Break for lunch (be sure to bring your own) then come back ready to spit lyrics. Poetic Murriz will share writing tips, rap techniques and stage presence - all the essentials to represent in style.
Come back on Friday 11 April and you’ll get the chance to showcase your stuff to family and friends with a celebration BBQ and performance.
Poetic Murriz are an emerging local Indigenous rap crew who compose all their songs and lyrics about daily situations they face in life and as Aboriginal people.
