My Fair Lady

The smash hit musical My Fair Lady is coming to Brisbane's Lyric Theatre in September boasting extravagant sets, outstanding performances, a veritable fashion parade of costumes and a succession of show-stopping numbers from ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’ to ‘Get me to the Church on Time’.

Based on the book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, the show was played in Broadway in 1956 and became a smash hit when it set a new record for the longest run of any major theatre production in history.

The production features a who's who of Australian Opera performers including Reg Livermore (Higgins) Taryn Fiebig (Eliza), Nancye Hayes (Mrs Higgins), John Wood (Doolittle), Rhys McConnochie (Pickering), Matthew Robinson (Freddy) and Adele Johnson (Mrs Pearce), supported by some of Brisbane's finest orchestral musicians.
