The Nutcracker

Inspired by the much-loved story by E.T.A. Hoffmann, François Klaus has created a traditional Christmas Nutcracker with lavish sets, beautiful costumes and spectacular dancing. It is the tale of young Clara, who discovers the magic of dance and theatre, when she is swept into a fantasy dream world where toy soldiers come to life and snowflakes dance.
Following its highly successful premiere in 2005, and in response to public demand, this colourful production returns to the Lyric Theatre, QPAC in December 2007.
