Music legend and master guitarist, Carlos Santana, was born in Mexico in 1947 and is the pioneer of a unique blend of soul, rock, blues, and jazz fusion that became hugely popular in the late 60s and early 70s.
In 2003, Santana was named 15th on Rolling Stone magazine's "List of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" for his achievements in a career that has spanned over four decades.
