Toohey Forest

The breathtaking Toohey Forest located in the south of Brisbane - just 11 km from the CBD - stretches all the way from Mt Gravatt in the east to Toohey Mountain, Tarragindi in the west and surrounds the Mt Gravatt Cemetery, ANZ Stadium and the Griffith University.

The park contains stunning rock formations from 380 million years ago, gliders, owls and flying foxes are found throughout the forest including extensive walking tracks through the open and botanically rich eucalypt forest and heath. There are also four picnic areas with barbecues and seating offering spectacular views of Brisbane.
